NMLAWS

Actively involved with protecting New Mexico's Land, Air, Water and the Sacred 

NMLAWS.

Indigenous Lifeways are current plaintiffs in the Atencio v. State of New Mexico. As Plaintiffs, we are stating that the State of New Mexico is in violation of equal protection and substantive due process rights to life, liberty, property, safety and happiness of Frontline communities, Indigenous peoples and youth.

In November of 2025,  New Mexico Supreme Court agreed to hear our case and we are currently awaiting a date.   Link to KRQE news story.
