Krystal F. Curley
Executive Director

Krystal F. Curley is from Gallup, New Mexico which is known to most people as the “Indian Capital of the World''. Ms. Curley is an enrolled Navajo Nation tribal member and also represents both Spanish and Mexican descent.

Growing up Ms. Curley always knew she was born to help her Diné people as both parents are members of the American Indian Movement. Since the age of 14, she has been active filmmaker and community advocate. Her training background ranges from underage drinking prevention, suicide prevention, media literacy, and anti-racism.

Ms. Curley graduated with honors from Santa Fe University of Art and Design with a B.F.A in Film Production with emphasis in Producing. Combining both community engagement and filmmaking experience she is able to bring awareness to indigenous issues like alcoholism, mental health, environmental racism, and intergenerational trauma.

Krystal  continues to develop and creatively utilize a growing toolbox of modern technologies to expand the capacity of her organization and the communities served by Indigenous Lifeways.
